01. Water Based Primer (IMW4400)

This is formulated to reduce the typical problems of impregnation of woods rich of tannin, extractives and “fat” substances which provoke appearance of spots. this impregnating agent must be applied on pieces sanded with grain 150 – 180, which have already been well dried. This series is available in colourless version and in a wide series of colours. the pigments used, ptw100 series, have the function of absorbing uv rays, so the colourless version must be used only as treatment of the surface when a pigmented cycle has to be applied. A painting clear cycle where tinted impregnating agents are not used does not guarantee the ageing resistance of the full cycle for outdoor.

It is a monocomponent sealer for exterior use, characterized by a good elasticity, good clearness immediately after application, and verticality. it can be vertically applied by spray till a thickness of 150 microns of wet film. fwe 600 can be pigmented with the pastes of pnw series (max. content of pastes 5%).

03. Water Based Top Coat Matt (OWE500G30)

It is a water based self sealers series for exterior use, translucent, It contains uv absorbers and additives against free radicals; it is characterised by high blocking resistance, excellent weather and ageing resistances, excellent transparency also during the application, excellent wettability, easy recycle, fast development of water resistance. it can be slightly tinted with ptw100 series stains.

04. Water Based Top Coat Gloss (IDROGLOS30)

It is a bicomponent water based full gloss topcoat for interiors. it is characterised by very good resistance to chemical agents, yellowing, very good hardness and superficial smoothness. it can be easily buffed.
(it is possible to tint it with pnw130 series pastes).

This is a series of matt water based self sealers, monocomponent, characterised by good chemical resistances, surface hardness, sandability, high transparency and fast drying times. it can be pigmented
properly with pnw130 series pastes to achieve a wide variety of different colours.

06. Water Based Sealer Cum Top Coat Eco (OW01)

FWPI130 is a white water-based sealer, formulated for painting MDF indoor workpieces. General characteristics of this product are high coverage and excellent sanding. The product gives also a good wetting of the substrate and it’s fast drying (if used as mono-component, while times are longer if it is catalysed with CW1). The product has also a good adhesion on melanine papers and PVC, however, due to the great variety of substrates, it is necessary to run out some preliminary trials in order to verify the adhesion. It is important to repeat the trials every time the substrate changes. Since it is a water-based product, temperature and humidity can influence the drying times of the product. The cleaning of the surfaces coated with waterborne products must be done with neutral detergents (therefore not based on acids, ammonia, or bleach), not abrasive and without solvents; in particular
avoid the use of products containing alcohol or acetone. Considering the high content of extractive and tannin into oak and chestnut, one of the causes of the chromatic variations of the dried paint film, before starting the transparent painting cycles on these essences, we recommend you to contact our Technical Support. Do not apply below 15 °C

07. Water Based Top Coat White Matt (OWBP530G30)

This is a bi-component water-based matt topcoats series for interiors. the characteristics of the product (only if added with cw1) are the very good resistance to yellowing, excellent smoothness, and good anti-scratch properties, much higher than the mono-component version of the same colour. these characteristics makes owbp530 a good alternative to the solvent based topcoats used for painting of internal furniture. owbp530g – like all the bi-component products – reaches the highest level of its characteristics some days after its application.

GENRAL PROPERTIES

Waterborne self sealer with great scratch resistance, good transparency and good chemical resistance. It has also good levelling and wetting properties and it’s easy to use; it can be used as it is or diluted up to 20% with water; use spray gun with nozzle 1,8-2,0, and 2-3atm. In order to increase chemical and mechanical properties, the product can be crosslinked with CW3 at 2%. The prepared mixture has 24 hours of effectiveness, but it can be recovered the day after by blending with fresh product in equal amount, and crosslinking the total amount with CW3 again.

10. Natural Wood Water Based (SOWOOD)

• So-wood is a water based self sealer which gives to the wood the final effect of “not painted”.
• So-wood is characterised by optimal wetting of the surface, pore definition, uniformità and smoothness.

• To increase significantly the general features, and above all the resi stance towards chemicals, we suggest to add cw4
• At 5% or cw1s02 at 5%; this solution has to be adopted if oak and chestnuts supports have to be painted, in order to
• Keep down the extraction of tannins (the use of a solvent based insulating agent is possible as first coat)
• So-wood does not change the natural colour of the wood, giving a final “not painted” effect.
• If so-wood is used as sealer in a water based/solvent based cycle, we suggest to perform some preliminary trials, to
• Check the wetting, adhesion, final aspect, etc. Of the solvent based topcoat.
• So-wood is applied by spray using cup guns, with nozze size equal to 1,8 – 2,0 at 2,5-3,5 atm. For curtain coater
• Application we suggest the use of the “open head” version.
• The cleaning of the surfaces coated with waterborne products must be done with neutral detergents (therefore not
